Time to take a little break from the battles of the Church Militant and thank God for the glory of His Creation.
We like living in Eastern Oregon for many reasons. Here are a few:
This is the scene that greeted me this morning when I awoke. |
There's some pretty cool wildlife:
A badger that found its way into our pasture...and had a hard time getting out. |
This spider wasn't really THAT big... |
Within a half-hour's drive of our house, we have views like this:
And views like this right out the front door:
The weather is very unpredictable...and unorthodox at times:
A June snowstorm in 2008 |
A May snowstorm in 2010 |
We get some big hail. |
We've seen some wonderful rainbows...
...and incredible sunsets:
Fall is pretty, too:
We don't much care for the wind, though; it's taken that door off a couple of times, and blown that heavy bench right off the porch:
But, yep...all in all, we have a great place to live! Deo gratias!
